Spending time in nature was a very important part of daily life, and she kept up that interest for natural environments throughout her adult life. After her studies in History and Tourism Development, she worked for various tour operators in the UK, but continued her travels, including hiking and diving in some of the most remote corners of the world.

After several years selling luxury safaris in Southern Africa, she decided to pursue her interest in hospitality and branched off into lodge management at Kamba in the Republic of Congo.

a true son of Africa, hails from the Maasai Mara and spent his formative years exploring the wilds of southern Africa with his family. It was a natural evolution for him to become a guide, driven by a deep-seated passion for sharing the marvels of his continent with visitors. For Josh, the essence of his work lies in the act of sharing – be it knowledge, memories, or, most importantly, experiences.

His expertise lies in tracking big game, delving into botany, capturing moments through photography, and unravelling Africa’s rich history. Despite over twelve years in the industry, spanning diverse terrains from the Greater Kruger to the Kalahari and the Congo basin, Josh’s enthusiasm for crafting the perfect safari experience remains undiminished.
